Barr has operations in more than 30 countries around the world.

U.S. Operations

Barr's principal U.S. facilities are in six locations: New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C. The Company's generic pharmaceutical research and development operations are headquartered in New York, while proprietary research and development activities are based in Pennsylvania. State-of-the-art manufacturing facilities are in New York, New Jersey, Ohio and Virginia, and the Company's distribution operations are in Virginia. Barr's corporate headquarters are located in Montvale, New Jersey.

Europe and Rest of the World (ROW) Operations

As a result of the 2006 PLIVA acquisition, Barr has significant operations in Central and Eastern Europe. Its European operations are headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia, as are the locations of its R&D center, generic biologics development and production, active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) production, and injectable, solid oral dosage and cream and ointment facilities. In Brno, Czech Republic, the Company maintains an R&D center and API, solid oral dose and sterile (cytostatic products) production. The Company also has facilities in Krakow, Poland for R&D, solid oral dose, liquids, and sterile injectable production. In addition, the Company has sales and marketing operations in multiple countries and key markets.

Barr continues to invest significant capital and other resources to support increasing production, laboratory, warehouse and distribution capacity to meet current needs, as well as projected needs resulting from approval and introduction of new generic and proprietary pharmaceuticals, and expansion in generic biologics.
